    Description

    Offered is a stunning carved and intricately designed representation of a pair of elegant peacocks in all their finery.  The complex detail of the colors and the carving technique creating a remarkable 3D effect throughout.  Most notably the depth of detail and color in every single feather on the two birds is exquisite.  You find yourself tracking each feather as it curves into designs and colors and almost appears to move when the bird stirs. The gilt in the feathers enhances the overall effect.  The pair seems remarkably at ease and you watch hoping that some sound will trigger them to raise their majestic fans.  The carving measures 23" x 29" an is in a mahogany frame.  All sales are final; no international sales.
