The military gas masks of the PMK series are designed to protect the eyes, face and respiratory organs of servicemen from the effects of radioactive, poisonous, bacterial, potent poisonous substances. PMK gas masks have a high degree of protection and are easy to use.
The gas mask consists of a body, obturator, visual unit, junction box, FPK connection block (absorbing filter box) with inspiratory valve, fairing, capsule type device, fluid intake system.
The glasses of the PMK-1 are based on a silicate material, which gives an increased resistance to scratches, the design of glasses improves the appearance and allows directional shooting and working with optics. PMK-1 has a device for receiving water and an adapter for an army jar.
The FPC attachment nodes are two holes on the sides of the mask. Depending on the specifics of working with weapons or the technology of a particular soldier and his individual characteristics, FPC can be inserted from both sides. The plug is inserted into the opposite hole or a second PCF can be used. Attention, one filter (FPK) is supplied!
The PMK-1 accessory cartridge cartridge kit is used with two adapters: one for connecting to the mask of the connection tube, the other for connecting the FPC to an additional cartridge. The exhalation block is equipped with a valve, which prevents the formation and condensation of moisture. The grille is designed to prevent the lid from fitting tightly against the inlet in the bottom of the box.
Bag PMK-1 is made of  layer fabric with fire-resistant impregnation. Strips of fibers are laid between the layers of tissue. Bags with valves are attached to the button and two velcro fasteners. Inside the bag are two compartments: large and small. On the fabric partition there are two pockets for NNP (film) and NMU (membrane), there is a sling on the side wall of the bag to place the bag on the waist belt, in this case the shoulder strap and belt are removed into the outer pockets located on the side wall.
