Description
Up for your consideration is this vintage piece of Hampshire Art Pottery. This has to be the most chunkiest, crustiest, boldest, bluest, pitted, moon surfaced glaze piece of Hampshire I've ever seen. May have been an experimental piece. The mold form is a standard piece that Hampshire cast with different variations and colors of glazes. This particular piece was made by Emoretta, wife of Cadman Robertson. It's inscribed "Hampshire" and has a "19/" something?, looks like an European 7 possibly.
Condition: Overall not bad, with the exception of the bottom surface cracks as seen in the pictures. None of the cracks go through to the inner side of the pot.
Designed by Robertson for his wife, Emoretta.
