British WW2 MKIII Army Steel Helmet - BMB 1944 Normandy D-Day

Original British WW2 MKIII steel helmet. The shell is marked BMB 1944 with other production numbers below and the liner is 1939 dated. MKIII helmets were initially delivered without liners to front line troops who were told to use liners from their MKII helmets which would explain the early war liner here. Nice helmet in good used condition with the usual dings, scratches and slight rust spots you would expect on a 75+ year old military helmet. Questions welcome, thanks for viewing this listing.
